Terms of Service

These terms are a working draft and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have counsel check them before you rely on them publicly.

Agreement

These terms are between you and Zuqah Technologies Pvt Limited ("we", "us"), and govern your use of Vardham. By creating an account you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

Your account

You must give accurate details and keep them current.
You are responsible for your login credentials and for everything done under your account, including by your staff.
Tell us promptly at support@vardham.co.in if you think your account has been compromised.

Plans and billing

The Free plan is limited to 20 bills a day, 25 products and 2 users.
The Pro plan is ₹999 per month and includes a 30-day free trial with every feature unlocked. No card is needed to start the trial.
Paid plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Fees are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
Payments already made are non-refundable except where Indian law requires a refund.

Your data stays yours

You own the data you put into Vardham — your catalogue, bills, ledgers and customer records. We claim no ownership over it. We process it to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data at any time, and we will not hold it hostage if you decide to leave.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Vardham to issue false invoices or to evade tax.
Upload malware, or try to break, probe or overload the service.
Resell or white-label Vardham without a written agreement with us.
Send messages through the product that the recipient has not agreed to receive.

We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

Availability

Vardham is built to keep billing when the internet does not — the catalogue syncs to your device and bills created offline sync later. We still cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may take the service down for maintenance and will give notice where we reasonably can.

GST and compliance

Vardham calculates tax and prepares GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and Tally exports from the data you enter. The accuracy of that output depends on the accuracy of your data — your HSN codes, tax rates and GSTIN. You are responsible for what you file. We are not your tax adviser. See GST & compliance for detail.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss of data where you have not kept your own backup. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time. We may end this agreement on 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach. On closure you can export your data; after that we delete it as set out in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction.
