Who we are
Vardham is a point-of-sale and billing product operated by Zuqah Technologies Pvt Limited. This policy covers the Vardham web and mobile apps and this website.
What we collect
- Account data — your name, business name, phone number, email address and GSTIN.
- Business data you enter — products, prices, stock, bills, purchases, expenses and ledgers.
- Your customers' data — the names, phone numbers and purchase history you record to issue bills, run loyalty and send receipts.
- Technical data — device type, app version, IP address and error logs, used to keep the service working.
How we use it
We use your data to run the service you signed up for, and for nothing else:
- Issue bills, track stock and produce your GST returns and reports.
- Sync your data across your devices and restore it when you reinstall.
- Send transactional messages — receipts and account notices — including over WhatsApp when you ask us to.
- Provide support when you contact us, and diagnose faults.
We do not sell your data, and we do not sell or rent your customers' data.
Your customers' data is yours
When you record a customer in Vardham, you are the owner of that record and we process it on your behalf. You are responsible for telling your customers what you collect and for having a basis to contact them. You can export or delete customer records at any time from within the app.
Where it is stored
Data is stored on servers in India. Vardham works offline: bills you create without a connection are held on your device and sync when you are back online. If you enable Google Drive backup, an encrypted copy is written to the Drive account you connect, and that copy is governed by Google's terms as well as this policy.
Who else sees it
We share data only with providers that help us run the service:
- Cloud hosting and backup providers.
- WhatsApp Business and SMS providers, to deliver the messages you send.
- Payment processors, to take your subscription payment.
We also disclose data where the law requires it — for example a valid order from a court or tax authority.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account we delete it within 90 days, except records we must retain for tax and accounting law — invoice and GST records are generally kept for eight years, as Indian law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you an export. Write to support@vardham.co.in and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to staff who need it, and accounts support role-based permissions so you control what your own staff can see. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
Vardham is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we make a material change we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the current version.
